HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOREY
I remember this day like it was yesterday. Watching you emerge into the world brought such a unique and unbelievable joyful feeling to me. You would have been 22 years old today. Although I know you're in a incredibly loving and beautiful place, I wish you were here with me. I know, thats selfish on my part, but my soul cries out for the joy and love you brought me. Whereever you are and whatever you're doing, know that I will never forget how you touched my heart and enriched my life. Today I will light a candle and I pray that somehow, someway you'll see that light and know that you will always shine brightly in my heart. Happy Birthday son. Popz

Springtime
Dearest Korey -
Spring is here and the mountains are waking up. New life, birth and renewal is all around me. How I wish you were here to see this with me, to live it and to gaze at the splendor of it all. Yet, I know in a way you are. Everytime I see a red cardinal, I know you're here, watching and providing the energy and strength only you can. Happy Spring son... Happy Easter... You're in my heart, my mind and with my spirit each and every day. I love you... Popz

THINKING OF YOU
It's been three months almost since you past away. My heart still grieves every day, but trying to get through it all. Never forget that you've been one of the greatest joys of my life and although you're not here physically, I carry you with me wherever I go. Be at peace son, take comfort and joy in the light. Love you, pops

LIVING
"AND GOD SAID "NO""
I asked God to take away my pride.
And God said "No".
He said it was not for him to take away,
but for me to give it up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
And God said "No".
He said his spirit was whole,
his body was only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience.
And God said "No".
He said patience is a by-product of tribulations.
It isn't granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness.
And God said "No".
He said he gives me blessings, happiness is up to me.
I asked God to spare me pain.
And God said "No".
He said suffering draws you apart
from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
And God said "No".
He said I must grow on my own.
But he will prune me to make me fruitful.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
And God said "No".
He said I will give you life, that you may enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me LOVE others,
as much as he loves me.
And God said,
Ah, finally you have the idea.
